I'm Out
I need to tell you all of you what has happend in the last 24hours.
Yesterday morning I was approached very violently by my step father, accusing me of "saying things behind his back" and being "self-centered". Yelling at me within a inch of my face, I was threatened that my stuff would be thrown out of the house. I was also grabbed by the arm and pushed from the house. I can tell you that I was very scared, and I still am. I took the rest of the day off yesterday, went to the house and packed all of my stuff. I am staying with my friend Natalie and her husband Andrew, until I can secure a job in San Diego and move back with even a little savings. I have a few books, guitar and kitchen stuff at the house...but no worries, Natalie is coming with me tonight to get that.
Thought you should know my step father has changed the code for the alarm and called the constable.
Kim, I need to talk to you when you have a chance. And for anyone who knows about a job in San Diego...let me know.

OMG Carrie I'm so sorry! That's terrible. I'm so glad that you're able to stay at Natalie's while you regroup. Glad that you're going back to SD, but of course I wish it was under much better circumstances. Keep us posted, love.

Oh Carrie, I am so sorry, that is awful! I'm so glad you were able to get out of there. You will be fine in San Diego, you are ready!!
Thanks so much ladies. I wish it was under better circumstances too; I wasn't quite ready financially to go but my fault for that though.
Thanks for the offer Kim, that means a lot to me. I will keep you informed. I'm waiting for a confirmation from a friend in El Cajon with a spare room.
All will be ok. A few job leads so far. Still 6 weeks to go.
