Feeling....
oh soo loved and included! Thank you Anna for including me on your blog! Oh and hi Maggie! We've never met, but I can only imagine I would love you as much as I love these girls! It's so wonderful to read what is going on in your lives. What a great idea to have a blog, especially since I too am moving far far away.
Kim is in the know about my big move, but the rest of you are not. After much thought, and loosing my job, I decided now would be a great time to make a big change. Hey, I am 25 years old with NO committments...when will I ever have the chance to move again? My Mom and Step-Dad live in Kingwood, TX (that's outside of Houston for all y'all Westerners). They live in a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath home and offerred me a free place to say (now I hear they put that up for sale and want to move into Houston....but that's another story).
I'm actually really excited about the big move; which will occurr on 7/30. Hopefully I'll have someone to drive with me, but nonetheless....its 1500 miles.
As you can see, its actually a nice looking house...better than the dump I was living in! I'm giving myself a year to save money and get back on me feet. I would love to be able to pay off my debt and I really don't see another way to do it.
The other bit of news is....I actually started seeing a new guy. Yes another sailor; I can't seem to get away from them! I met him in April before Jay came home and we became good friends. He is so much fun and totally makes me laugh. A bit young, 22, and is stationed on the USS Topeka here in San Diego (a submarine). Timing is hard right now, with me leaving and him going underway so often, but we are already talking about him visiting me in Houston. That's my update there.
Anway, I miss you and love you all. I REALLY hope to make out to NYC soon. I've dreamed of visiting my whole life - no time like the present!
