What's the opposite of progress?

Just kidding! I've had a very productive two hours here at my local branch of the CPL, sending out resumes. So far I've applied to five jobs: a managing editorial assistant position and regular editorial assistant position (couldn't really tell you the difference, but they have different reference codes, so . . . ) at HarperCollins, an EA position at Little, Brown (a v. famous imprint of Hatchett books), an EA position at St. Martin's Press, and an EA position at Berkley (an imprint of Penguin). And I'm exhausted. Also, all my applications appear to have little flaws in them now that I look back that I didn't notice before--it's like they sneak in when I'm not looking. Sigh. If I even get contacted by one of these houses I'll be shocked. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck Anna and fingers are crossed here in the LB for you! And I agree with resumes and those little corrections you always seem to find after you've just printed it!
