mediocre beaches, dying of frozation, california the motherland

Far be it for me to complain, because I AM breathing, living rent-free and working for a good company - THO I have every right to do so...so I'm gonna!

1) It's cold as shit here....39-ish to be exact. It rains too damn much. I wouldn't mind so much if, occassionally, I felt a nice ocean breeze...BUT NO breeze, just damn cold and I don't like it anymore.

2) I'm sick for what seems like the third time since I've been here (5 months). I NEVER use to get sick at home, maybe once a year...I think I'm allergic to Texas.

3)I'm going to Galveston tomorrow and though it IS the "beach" its an extremely pathetic excuse for one. I'd take Imperial Beach over Galveston (and that's sayin alot).

4)Oh and this isn't a complaint but I saw The Bucket List last night. GO SEE IT....I loved it. I'm not going to give anything away but let's just say I want to find my joy and I'm 99.9999999% sure it's NOT HERE. Life is too short; simple as that.

Send some wellness vibes my way. My throat is pretty sore; always the first to go. I am really hoping it doesn't get worse. Hope all is well with you.

I'm excited to hear a review from Anna, if in fact you do go see the movie. ;-)
