Road Trip
So the road trip begins Friday, March 21st!!! I am sooooooo excited to be coming home, I can't stand it! I've talked to a bunch of people about which route to take, northern or southern, and while I would like to see some new scenery, the northern route is 500 miles out of the way = more money on gas! So that's a no. However, there is one place in New Mexico I wanted to stop at last time and it only happens to be about an hour, 100 miles or less out of the way. Here's a link to the route I came up with.

The small detour is due to the stop in White Sands, NM.
White Sands National Monument
This is just one picture I found of White Sands.
I would love to check this place out, and of course it's up to Kim too...so we will see. Total miles without White Sands is almost at 1500, with the stop its 1600. Just trying to decide how big of a deal 100 miles is. I suppose we can play it by ear; it really depends on what time of the day we are even in New Mexico - the hours of the park I think are 7am - 9pm. Besides that, I need to spend as little money as possible for this trip. Thoughts anyone?

Man I'm so jealous. I mean, I hate the desert, so it says a lot that I wish I were doing this road trip. Although quality time with Carrie and Kim? Priceless. I wish I was going to be ANYWHERE but here; getting a little bit of cabin fever, knowing that I won't be leaving New York until August, when I get to go to California for, get this, only five days, half of one of which will be spent flying back to NY. Damn not having vacay days.
Picture fixed! :) In other news, the US is fucking huge.
